This one comes from the former 'Salem Critic' and it's a favorite of mine:

"It occurs to me now what seeing Jack reminds me of. You know when you were a little child and went trick-or-treating (okay, some of you probably still do go trick-or-treating LOL) you got all those little gumballs, jawbreakers, and suckers that aren't tootsie-pops, then you get to a house and you see they're passing out full-size Snickers bars. Not the fun size…the big ol' full-size bars. You hear that resounding 'thud' as that Snickers drops to the bottom of your trick-or-treat bag. You step off the porch and have to have a look at your newly acquired treasure, so you peer down into your bag, and there it is! That's Jack. He's the full-size Snickers bar in a bag full of little gumballs, jawbreakers, and suckers that aren't tootsie-pops. And that feeling that you get just looking at that full-size Snickers bar, that's the feeling I get when I look at Jack."
