MIRANDA'S VERANDA CHALLENGE #8: Mood Lighting
You know that old saying: "Tis better to light a single candle than to let Jack Deveraux curse the darkness!" Okay, so the old saying doesn't go exactly like that. But it does serve to illuminate our next challenge. Your assignment is to render a creation (story, cartoon, video or other) that includes Jack and/or Jennifer … and at least one candle.
It's up to you to decide whether it is a solitary candle (like the one for their p-e-r-f-e-c-t, but electricity-deficient, night of work) or many candles (like those used when Jack and Jennifer were preparing a romantic dinner for Steve and Kayla). Will it be a candle that sparks a fantasy (like the one Jack lit up when imagining a proposal to Miss Horton)? Or will it be candles that celebrate a major birthday or anniversary (that were used on many occasions)?
All those details can be determined by your brilliantly creative minds. So spark your imaginations, set a match to some bright ideas, and fire up your computers so you can light up our world with this month's challenge!
Here's a quick reminder of the guidelines:
-- You can submit multiple entries
-- Each entry can be as short or as long as you like, but it should be a single story (no multiple chapters).
-- You can use any timeframe you like (first run, second run, or you can imagine their childhoods or their future)
-- You can include other characters, but every item should include Jack and/or Jennifer to stay on topic
-- You can use any medium you like (write a story, create a banner, draw a cartoon, use screen shots and captions, use video clips, make a music video, or use your creativity to come up with something totally unique).
